About Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce
Northeast Shelby County's largest business membership organization, with more than 600 members spanning a range of industries in a market of roughly 250,000 people. Programs include a membership directory and monthly newsletter, the Ambassadors Program, Leadership Bartlett, the Bartlett Station Farmer's Market, membership luncheons, the Stakeholders Cup golf tournament, and the Bartlett Business Summit. It publishes Bartlett Insights, a community guide and directory, and produces the Made in Bartlett and Heartbeat of Bartlett podcasts. Economic development work covers commercial property listings, a retail initiative, career listings, and support for the region's medical device manufacturing sector through the Bartlett Chamber Foundation.
The Chamber was established in 1980, when Bartlett's population was about 17,000, to help the city navigate its growth; charter members including Bank of Bartlett, Bartlett Express, Crye-Leike Realtors, and Methodist Hospital North provided the initial funding and guidance. Its stated mission is to advance the long-term prosperity of Bartlett and Northeast Shelby County by sustaining and growing the business community. A volunteer board of directors drawn from local, national, and international companies governs the organization.
