About Cousin Willie's Smokehouse

Powell and Leslie (Willis) Peacock, a married couple, opened the restaurant in November 2016. Powell completed culinary school and has cooked in settings ranging from five-star fine dining to other barbecue restaurants, while Leslie, an HR director and consultant by trade, handles the business side and does the baking. They run the restaurant with their young son, Anderson, in mind.
