About Hair Extensions, Inc.

A North Tampa salon split into two private studios: an extension studio run by Ree, offering sew-in weaves, hand-tied extensions, tape-ins, microlinks, braidless sew-ins, wigs and custom pieces, and a loc studio run by Marlaina, covering starter locs, loc maintenance, repair, dreadlock extensions and synthetic dreads. Hair is sourced through an international team working with partners in Europe, Cambodia and Vietnam, then hand-sorted and color-matched to each client rather than pulled from stock and chemically processed. Consultations are complimentary, with pricing explained in person instead of posted online, and the salon will assess and correct extensions installed elsewhere. They work on straight, wavy, curly, coily and kinky hair, including thinning hair, and book free follow-up check-ins after many services.

Ree and Marlaina built most of the salon themselves, with Ree installing the floors and framing the walls and Marlaina assembling the furniture. They designed a private, low-pressure studio deliberately unlike a large open salon floor, and keep the team small so each client works one-on-one with a single stylist.
