About HiFi Kitchen

Filipino Angeleno cooking that reworks classic Filipino dishes through the lens of Los Angeles flavors, served in Historic Filipinotown. The menu comes out of years of taste testing and remixing and includes vegan and gluten-free options. Food is available for pick-up and delivery.

Started in 2018 and named after Historic Filipinotown, the restaurant was founded by Justin Foronda, who was born and raised in the neighborhood. His background as a bboy, registered nurse and musician, along with family recipes he grew up eating, shapes the cooking. The team describes itself as a diverse group of creatives focused on strengthening FilAm representation in the neighborhood.
