Italian restaurant in Mandeville, LA
Traditional Italian cooking on the Northshore, with house-made pasta, seafood dishes such as shrimp scampi and fried oysters, steaks, and desserts including tiramisu. A five-course dinner option is a signature of the dining room. A 600-square-foot wine cellar holds more than 400 labels, alongside spirits and craft beer, and there is a relaxing outdoor patio. Catering for birthdays, holiday and corporate events, and weddings is available, along with private parties and online ordering for pickup.
The restaurant belongs to the Impastato family of restaurants. Joe Impastato opened Impastato's in Metairie in 1979 after more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, five years after his brother Sal opened Sal and Judy's in Lacombe. Impastato Cellars opened in Madisonville on September 5, 2013, bringing the family's authentic Italian cuisine and old-world ambiance to the Northshore.
