About Jaemor Farms

A working family farm in the North Georgia foothills with an on-site market selling homegrown fruits and vegetables, peaches, strawberries, blackberries, honey, and farm-made sauces and jellies, plus a bakery with cakes, sweet treats, and ice cream. The Eatery serves made-to-order sandwiches, hotdogs, BBQ, seasonal specialties, milkshakes and desserts, with lunch delivery and platters for groups and events. Seasonal U-Pick runs through the year — strawberries and tulips in spring, peaches, flowers and blackberries in summer — alongside a fall harvest celebration with a corn maze and pumpkin patch. The farm also hosts field trips, Peach Palooza, Night Out on the Farm, and pop-up markets, and ships gift boxes and peach orders.

The Echols family has grown peaches in the Hall, Banks, and Habersham county area since 1912, when Tim Echols planted the first trees and sold fruit to travelers on Cornelia Highway. The operation, then known as Echols Orchards, passed to George Echols and later to Jimmy Allen Echols and Valvoreth Morrison Echols, who took over in 1955. In 1981, with the arrival of I-985 and Highway 365, the family built a new on-farm market and renamed it J.A.E.M.O.R. after Jimmy and Valvoreth. The farm was named a Centennial Farm in 2012, was purchased by fourth- and fifth-generation family members Jarl, Judah, and Drew in 2016, and opened The Eatery in 2023.
