Meat & Graze is a cheeseboard and grazing table company located at 3108 Glenn Rd in Durham, NC, one of the original tenants of the Boxyard food hall, reachable at [email protected] and operating since 2020. The business, dubbed Durham's first cheeseboard company and the first Black woman-owned cheeseboard brick-and-mortar in North Carolina, was founded by Aya following the loss of her brother Joshua; crafting cheeseboards became a healing ritual that grew into what the company now calls Cheeseperiences, memorable food experiences designed to bring loved ones together. Offerings include charcuterie boards, luxury grazing tables, interactive Cheeseperience Design classes, and catering for events of all sizes, including corporate lunches, weddings, team-bonding events, and family fun classes, with pick-up and delivery available across Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and the surrounding Triangle. Meat & Graze began as a healing journey for founder Aya after the loss of her brother, Joshua. Since starting in 2020, the company has become Durham's first cheeseboard company and the first Black woman-owned cheeseboard brick-and-mortar in North Carolina, growing from a personal outlet for grief into a recognized Triangle-area catering and events business built on quality, community, and creativity.
