About Pocomoke Area Chamber of Commerce
A 501(c)(6) non-profit membership organization serving Pocomoke City and the surrounding area, funded primarily through member dues and governed by an elected Board of Directors with Executive Director Lisa Taylor handling daily management. Services include weekly member promotion through social media, the chamber website and email marketing, plus help with branding, print aids and web development. The chamber also runs networking and professional development programming, ribbon cuttings and business after hours events, a Member 2 Member discount program, annual awards, and a searchable membership directory spanning categories from agriculture and fishing to healthcare, lodging and restaurants. It advocates for member businesses with government, education and economic development organizations, and acts as a referral point connecting companies to business resources.
