Rony's Car Pros was established in 1999 when founder Rony Herrera opened his first shop on Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles. The business relocated to Washington Place two years later, and expanded in 2008 with a second location in Culver City. Herrera's technical background began in his native Guatemala, where he trained at a BMW dealership before immigrating to the United States to further his mechanical education. The shop operates on a family-centered philosophy, stating "we treat our clients like family," and invites customers to consider themselves part of "the Rony's Car Pros family." Rony Herrera continues to run the business alongside his wife Rachel, who manages administrative operations, and the shop serves all vehicle makes and models across its two Southern California locations.
