About Underground Barbershop Orlando

Part of the Underground One group, which combines a contemporary barbershop with beauty services (hair, nails, aesthetics, facial and body spa), kids' haircuts, and a training academy offering hands-on barbering and beauty courses. The barbershop side covers cuts, fades, beard work and shaves, with dedicated kids' areas at the I-Drive and Oviedo locations and drinks such as draft beer and coffee served in the shop. A membership program offers priority access, special pricing and members-only benefits. Barbers are trained through Underground Academy, and additional beauty locations in Dr. Phillips and Winter Garden are in the works.

The business began as a barbershop built around respect for individuality and diversity — racial, physical, religious and gender — and grew into a gathering place as much as a grooming destination. Requests from clients' wives led to the addition of beauty services under the UB brand, and the combination of the two became Underground One, an all-in-one concept spanning barbering, beauty and education. The name reflects a connection to the earth, symbolizing roots and a solid foundation. The company says it has been recognized as Best Personal Care Establishment in Orlando.
