About Winghaven Pizza Farm
A seasonal pizza farm serving stone-fired thin crust pizza made fresh to order, alongside regional craft beer and wine, locally sourced snacks, and treats for kids. The grounds include a fire pit and yard games, and the Winghaven Main Stage hosts live music every weekend through the season. A Caramel Apple dessert pizza built on a family apple crumble recipe is among the offerings. Carry-out ordering, gift cards, and private parties are also available.
The farm traces back to 1852, when N.B. and Mary Grover settled the land and planted apple trees. Two generations later, Henry and Evelyn Grover named the orchard Winghaven for the migratory birds that found refuge in the trees along the Mississippi flyway. The family no longer grows apples commercially, and the fifth generation now runs the pizza farm on the original Grover homestead. Rob Grover owns the business and often works as greeter or bartender, while his sister Sarah Grover serves as general manager.
