1799 Prime Steak & Seafood was founded in August 2022 by owner Jahmond Quander, who draws on more than 30 years in the restaurant business, alongside co-owner and executive chef Sonny Tena, to honor the historic Quander family's multi-generational legacy in the Mount Vernon/Alexandria area.
