Restaurant in Evansville, IN
2nd Language is a Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant in downtown Evansville, Indiana, part of the Pangea Restaurant Group. The open-concept kitchen serves authentic ramen, rice bowls, Japanese-inspired steamed buns, and house-made desserts, alongside an evening cocktail bar. The space shares its location with Pangea Pizzeria Downtown, so guests can order from both menus.
2nd Language was founded by Randy Hobson, a Vincennes, Indiana native and University of Evansville graduate, who launched Pangea Restaurant Group after 25 years at Berry Global. The restaurant's name reflects the idea that food is itself a universal second language, blending Evansville's architectural history with global culinary traditions.
