Restaurant, Bar, Coffee shop in Hico, TX
The kitchen at 2nd Street Social runs on a straightforward technical premise: scratch-made everything, sourced locally where possible. Grass-fed beef gets ground and pattied in-house for the burgers; fries are cut fresh rather than dropped frozen; espresso drinks are pulled to order alongside a full bakery case. The build also houses an arcade and bar program, functioning as coffee shop, restaurant, and social hall under one roof.
Opened as a new addition to historic downtown Hico, the business filled a gap for a full-service bakery-cafe-bar hybrid in a town best known for its Old West tourist draw, quickly becoming a local anchor for both residents and visitors passing through.
