About Abbey Creek Vineyard
Abbey Creek Vineyard runs a winery and tasting room in North Plains, Oregon, known to regulars as The Crick. The tasting room pours wines alongside kitchen bites and bottles to go, with communal seating, a merch Corner Store and hip-hop playing throughout. Reservations are recommended on weekends, and walk-ins are taken when space allows. Guests must be 21 and over. The winery also runs a wine club and off-site tour events.
Bertony Faustin founded Abbey Creek Vineyard and is Oregon's first recorded Black winemaker. Born in New York to Haitian immigrant parents and raised in Queens, he entered wine with no credentials or connections and built the brand around his heritage and hip-hop. He produced the documentary Red, White & Black, featuring minority winemakers in Oregon, and is releasing a book, Say The Whole Name, in September 2026.
