A University City cafe and mini mart serving Ethiopian food on gluten-free injera, including platters with two meat options and an otherwise fully vegan menu. The cafe opened in 2020 as the first of the Ali Family restaurants in Philadelphia. It was followed by Salam Cafe in Germantown in 2021, serving Middle Eastern and Ethiopian dishes, and Doro Bet in University City in September 2022, which specializes in gluten-free fried chicken made with teff flour.
