The Glam Factory was founded by Alisha Danielle, a U.S. Army veteran who served from 2004 to 2012 before turning to entrepreneurship in the beauty industry. She had already opened a salon business in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and acquired Me Time Day Spa there in 2014 using personal investors rather than bank financing. After her mother passed away, Danielle decided to return to the Atlanta area and identified an opportunity in Snellville/Lilburn: renting a single salon suite cost about the same as renting an entire building. That insight led her to open The Alisha Danielle Glam Factory as a salon suite in April 2022, built around her philosophy that success is "earned and not given."
