Joe Mullenax started the tax prep and business services practice in 1989, growing it by purchasing several small accounting practices. Amy Oleksik joined him in ownership in 1993, and Allegany Business Consulting was formed. More than 30 years later both remain owners, having expanded from Cumberland to locations in Hagerstown, Maryland and Berlin, Pennsylvania, with over 200 years of combined experience across the three offices.
