Founding member Michael S. Baldwin earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2002 and worked at the Michigan Department of Attorney General while in law school. He began his career as a general practitioner at Christopher Trainor & Associates, P.C., where he became lead attorney supervising the criminal and family law departments, and left after five years to incorporate Baldwin Legal Services PLLC. In December 2013 he completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Insurance Law at Cooley, and he concentrates on complex insurance cases against insurance companies. He is licensed in Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
