A locally owned vegan and gluten-free cafe across from the Broward County Convention Center, serving scratch-made breakfast and lunch with no preservatives. The kitchen, headed by Chef Michael, focuses on plant-based, gluten-free comfort food. Fresh baked goods are always gluten free, with vegan or keto options, and the bakery also makes custom signature cakes, cupcakes, sheet cakes and multi-tier cakes in flavors such as red velvet, carrot and pineapple with buttercream or cream cheese icing. Specialty cake orders require 24 to 48 hours notice, and delivery is available through Uber Eats and Grubhub.
Owner Big Mike was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2010, which changed his life personally and professionally. Seeing how hard it was for people with food allergies and celiac to enjoy their favorite foods and baked treats, he set out to develop a flour blend and desserts that were both gluten free and good tasting. That work grew into a menu of gluten free, vegan, dairy free and sugar free foods and desserts.
