About Commercial Point Cafe

A weekday breakfast and lunch cafe serving made-to-order omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, and grits, alongside espresso, cappuccino, lattes, and brewed coffee. The lunch menu runs to handcrafted sandwiches and clubs, wraps, gyros, salads, burgers, quesadillas, soups, and daily specials, with sides like sweet potato fries, pasta salad, and fresh fruit. The cafe has served the 33309 area near Lauderdale Lakes and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport since 1986, and remains family-owned and operated. Owners Doug and Patti chose the weekday breakfast-and-lunch schedule so they could stay active in their children's lives, and more than thirty years later they still run the business. Their two sons, Douglas Jr. and Michael, have since joined the family business.
