About Black Food Black Futures
Black Food Black Futures is the community food initiative of OurSpace World, a Black-led Maryland nonprofit working across Maryland, DC and Virginia. It grew out of the 2023 Black Food Black Futures Festival in Prince George's County, which celebrated Black food culture and collected 764 pounds of food. Today it runs The Black Food Truck, a farmers market on wheels, and keeps local, healthy food within reach.
