About Black Restaurant Week San Antonio
A week-long annual event spotlighting Black-owned restaurants, food trucks, and culinary businesses, along with Black professionals working in the food industry across San Antonio. Participating establishments offer a designated BRWSA Special during the week, and $1 from each Special purchased goes to local charity. The program also lists participants, events, and a map, and takes inquiries from prospective restaurant participants and sponsors.
Founded in 2018, with the first Black Restaurant Week San Antonio held in 2019, it has become an annual tradition in the city. The event is organized around the themes of cuisine, culture, and community. With support from the community and sponsoring partners, it has raised close to $30,000 for the San Antonio Food Bank.
