The Blackhawk Museum in Danville is a nearly 70,000-square-foot museum that opened in 1988 (originally as the Behring Auto Museum) to house founder Kenneth Behring's classic car collection. Its galleries include the Don Williams Automotive Gallery of rare and exotic automobiles alongside the Spirit of the Old West, Into China, Art of Africa, and World of Nature exhibits. The museum also has an automotive reference library, museum store, and event spaces, and is open Friday through Sunday.
