About Booker T. Washington Center

A development and education center running afterschool programming, a GED program, mentoring, a WIC nutrition program for women, infants and children, Impact Sports basketball, a Baby Boomers program for older adults, a prevention program, and volunteer opportunities. The center also fields the Blue Hawks and sells team gear, rents its facility for events, and hosts an annual golf tournament. Youth and adult applications, community service placements, and volunteer sign-ups are handled through the center.

The center describes itself as having served the Erie community for 100 years through education, community service, and programs for youth and seniors.
