Louisville native Timothy T. Bourke III, a University of Kentucky accounting graduate, opened the tax and accounting practice in May 1978 on the belief that he could provide competent, professional financial services and have fun doing it; he has been an Enrolled Agent since 1982. Bill Lentini, who previously owned a large tax and accounting firm in San Francisco serving that city's diverse community and worked on domestic partnership tax legislation, sold his firm in 2009 and partnered with Tim in 2017 as managing partner. The firm has since expanded, marking the opening of its New Albany office with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
