About Braiderholic
A braiding salon serving clients of all ages, with a team of braiders working together on styles such as knotless and boho braids. The focus is on neat, precise parting and styles that promote hair growth and care, using nourishing products meant to protect natural hair. Consultations are available for clients unsure which style to book, and appointments include guidance on maintaining the finished look.
Founder Medey Ajasa was born and raised in Lagos and has over 20 years of braiding experience, beginning by braiding her mother's hair and later helping in her mother's salon under her guidance as a cosmetologist. She began braiding in the DFW Metroplex in 2018 from a corner of her living room, rented a salon suite in 2022, and opened a fully equipped braiding salon in 2024. Part of her stated aim for the salon is helping other braiders build businesses from their skills.
