About Braids by Ade

An African hair braiding shop offering micro braids, goddess braids, cornrows, faux locs, dreadlocks, single/box braids, bob box braids, small box braids, soft locs, Senegalese twists, kinky twists, comb twists, passion twists, custom wigs, and sewn-in weaves. Clients can bring a photo of any braiding style to be recreated, and free consultations are offered for styles not listed. Braiding hair is available on site, with more sold next door. The shop braids African, Caucasian, Asian, and Arabic hair, and takes both walk-ins and appointments.

The shop is run by Ade, a master braider with more than 20 years of experience that began during her time in Africa. She now serves clients across the DMV area, including Laurel, Bowie, Upper Marlboro, Greenbelt, and Lanham.
