About Buckner's Family Restaurant

Southern homecooked meals served family-style, with dishes brought to the table on a Lazy Susan for sharing and a menu that rotates daily. Nearly everything is made from scratch on site: dough rolled by hand, potatoes whipped in house, peach cobbler baked fresh each day, and chicken, pork, and beef brought in fresh and hand-cut. Ingredients are sourced directly from Georgia when possible. Also offered are to-go orders, gift cards, private and off-site group dining and events, and branded merchandise including hats, shirts, hoodies, sauces, and spices, plus a Thursday night fish fry.

Mr. and Mrs. Buckner opened the restaurant in 1980 with the help of their two sons and their wives, inspired by family gatherings around a big table of homecooked food in their own kitchen. The business has been run across three generations and describes itself as rooted in Christian values, with a mission to share simple southern flavors and treat everyone who walks in with the same serving spirit.
