Carrie Morey founded the handmade biscuit business in 2005 to make her mother's tender, buttery, made-by-hand biscuits available across the country. Over 20 years later the brand has national retail exposure and Charleston eateries. Morey wrote the cookbooks Callie's Biscuits and Southern Traditions and Hot Little Suppers, and stars in the docu-series How She Rolls. The company's biscuits, pimento cheeses and other goods have received 24 sofi awards from the Specialty Foods Association, and its eateries appeared on the 2019 Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Inner City Businesses list.
