A criminal defense practice covering DUI/OVWI, drug charges, gun crimes, theft and property offenses, battery and domestic battery, and resisting law enforcement, along with civil traffic matters such as tickets, habitual traffic violator charges, license reinstatement and hardship license petitions. The firm also handles criminal record expungements, gun rights restoration, alternate misdemeanor sentencing petitions and sentence modifications. Principal attorney Julie Chambers graduated with honors from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2007 after earning a political science degree from the University of Michigan. In 2008 she joined the Marion County Prosecutor's Office as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, handling misdemeanors and felonies, serving in mental health court and as the county's Traffic Court Deputy Prosecutor, and trying jury and bench cases as lead and secondary counsel. She founded Chambers Law Office after nearly five years as a deputy prosecutor. She is admitted in Indiana, Michigan, both Indiana federal district courts and the U.S. Supreme Court, and was selected for the second class of Hoosier Women Forward in 2019.
