Charmant Studios is a creative studio in Durham combining photography, video production, and beauty services under one roof, built as a working space for artists, entrepreneurs, and brands rather than a single-service photo studio. Clients can book portrait and family photography, editorial and brand imagery, and full production support, alongside on-site makeup artistry and esthetics for photoshoots or personal beauty appointments. The studio is led by Barbara D, its studio director, who is both a photographer and makeup artist with nine years of experience in makeup artistry and more than a decade in production; she built the space around a mission of giving artists room to experiment without limits. Alexus B, a registered nurse by training, serves as production lead and studio manager, keeping shoots and brand campaigns running smoothly behind the scenes. Aaseya S works as a makeup artist and esthetician specializing in flawless skin and bold editorial looks, while also assisting with production. Photographer Fairyy C, who holds a childhood development degree and works in early childhood education, is noted for her particular skill photographing children and families. Intern photographer Fallyn, a Mass Communications student originally from Atlanta, rounds out the team, contributing to shoots while developing her own visual storytelling practice.
