About Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge
An Adirondack-style lodge restaurant set on a 21-acre nature preserve, built of log and stone with grand fireplaces, wood-beamed ceilings and cozy nooks, plus indoor and outdoor seating. The seasonal American menu runs from jumbo lump crab cakes, Maryland-style Crisfield stew and whole roasted rainbow trout to house-made pasta, tacos on house-made corn tortillas, burgers including the truffle-aioli Lodge Burger, and steaks broiled at 750°F. A raw bar offers oysters by variety and tiered shellfish platters, with an oyster happy hour twice daily and a separate bar happy hour on weekdays. Weekend brunch adds eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits and buttermilk pancakes; coffee is roasted locally by Quartermaine in Rockville.
Part of Clyde's Restaurant Group, which operates several American bars and restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area. The Tower Oaks Lodge design draws on the grand "Great Camps" of the Adirondack Mountains from the early 1900s.
