About Confections of A Diva
Confections of a Diva is a bakery in Wilson, North Carolina, run by Kasia Hunter Parker, who bakes and designs the cakes and goes by Kas. Custom cakes are the specialty, and the range runs well past cake: brownies, cakecicles, candied and chocolate-covered apples, crunch puddings, cupcakes, dipped Oreos, dipped pretzels and rods, donuts, flavoured popcorn, macarons, puddings, rice krispy treats and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Dietary needs are a real part of the menu rather than an afterthought — there are dedicated vegan-friendly, diabetic-friendly and keto-friendly ranges, with a gallery section of keto and diabetic work. The custom side covers baby showers, birthdays, bridal, engagement and wedding cakes, Greek and social organisation cakes, photo cakes, and cakes for teams and gaming, plus full treat packages and dessert tables for events. Wedding and party cake tastings can be booked, along with built-to-order event packages. Kasia also teaches. "In the Kitchen with Kas" runs basic and advanced baking classes and baking camps, and she publishes a "Keeping up with Kas" strand alongside the shop. Ordering is online. Traditional orders need a minimum of three business days, custom orders fourteen, and custom requests get a response within 24 hours.
