About Dallas Black Chamber Of Commerce

The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce advocates for Black-owned businesses across North Texas. Members get referrals, partnerships, educational seminars, networking events and a searchable business directory listing. Its Black Business Bootcamp and Dallas Accelerator Program run virtual and in-person workshops using the Kauffman FastTrac Growth Venture curriculum, covering taxes, business structure, grant applications, MBE and WMBE certification. The chamber also awards micro grants and offers corporate partnership levels, memberships for individuals, businesses and nonprofits.

The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce was established in 1926 and describes itself as the nation's first Black chamber of commerce. During the Covid-19 pandemic it helped issue $5 million in emergency funding to 300 Black-owned businesses. Its Black Business Bootcamps have served more than 2,000 businesses, and its micro grant program has awarded over $171,000 in North Texas and Houston.
