About Driven Performance Wood Dale
A vintage auto restoration, repair and customization shop working on classic muscle cars, trucks and hot rods. Services include engine repairs, upgrades and swaps; brake and suspension work; electrical repair or replacement; exhaust upgrades; full restorations and fabrication; and general maintenance. Past projects include show rods and builds such as the Kosmic Outcast, the Black Pearl F-100 and the LeMans Corvette. The Wood Dale shop is staffed by ASE Certified technicians and UTI graduates, several with 15 to 20 years in the trade, and works alongside a sister location in Addison with complementary specialties.
Richard "Tiny" Leidolf and Tim Grant, who between them had more than 50 years in the automotive and business development industries, moved on from silent partnerships and opened the Wood Dale location in 2020. The shop expanded its footprint quickly, and in January 2023 the pair purchased the assets of an existing vintage auto shop in Addison, Illinois, forming the Driven Group and rebranding the acquisition as Driven Performance, Addison. The group continues to look for opportunities to grow and add services.
