About Elom African Braids
A braiding studio offering box braids, knotless and Goddess Boho braids, Senegalese twists, crochet styling, feed-in braids, French curl braids, and Fulani styles, plus sew-ins with leave-out or closure, quick weaves, and loc retwists. Separate service menus cover women, men (cornrows, stitch braids, box braids and twists), children ages 5-10, and preteens 11-14. Three braiders work different days of the week, and special Monday and Sunday appointments can be arranged by phone for an added fee.
Owner Elom Jackie has more than ten years of braiding experience across a wide range of styles and designs. She says she opened the salon to create a warm, judgment-free space where clients are treated like family, and she tailors each style to the individual rather than working from a set formula.
