Davis joined in 1983 after six years as an Assistant State's Attorney, and the firm took its current name. It has since passed to a second generation, with Steven, Jeffrey, and Avi Fagan now practicing; Joseph Fagan is retired and Davis stepped back from partnership in 2025 while remaining active.
