Restaurant in Shreveport, LA
French-inspired Southern cooking served in a small, casual dining room in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood. The seasonal menu uses locally sourced ingredients and runs from shareable appetizers to hearty entrées and desserts, alongside craft beer, specialty cocktails, alcohol-free cocktails and a curated wine list. Seating is limited, so reservations are encouraged. The restaurant also handles catering and private events, serves as the preferred caterer for the Shreveport Aquarium, and offers a Chef's Table experience with a personally curated menu.
The business began as Fat Calf Boucherie, operating from a stationary 40-foot food trailer at Red River Brewing Company and known for locally raised meat. The trailer was later moved inside the brewery, and two years after that the owners rebranded and opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the Highland neighborhood. It is run by owner and executive chef Anthony Felan and owner and marketing director Amanda Felan, with a team including a chef de cuisine, director of operations, catering manager and bar manager.
