Each salon pairs premium sunbeds and spray-tan booths with red light therapy and dry or wet saunas, sold as walk-in memberships with a free first visit for new guests. More than 115 salons are open across 17 states, with hundreds more announced.
Onyi Odunukwe opened the first Glo Tanning salon in Arkansas in 2010, in his early twenties, and grew it to seven stores before moving the company to Oklahoma City in 2018. Franchising began in 2019, and in 2020 he partnered with multi-unit salon operators Paul Rudnicki and Ambria Hatcher to streamline operations. The brand passed 80 locations within four years of franchising and now reaches from Colorado to Florida.
