About Groundfloor
A membership coworking space with 24/7 access, located in Echo Park in Los Angeles plus locations in Oakland, San Rafael, and two San Francisco neighborhoods. Each site includes coworking and social areas, meeting rooms, phone booths, lounges, a kitchen with coffee and tea, outdoor patios, and mail service, and all are dog friendly. The emphasis is on community rather than desks alone: members organize the events calendar, and shared lunches, walks, and wellness experiences are part of the routine. Spaces are also available for venue rental.
Groundfloor began as an idea in London and was launched in San Francisco by co-founders Jamie, Jermaine, and Trim, who built it first for themselves and then opened it to others looking for a better place to work and spend time. It started in one San Francisco neighborhood and has since grown to four locations, each shaped by its own members.
