About Ice Cold Air Discount Auto Repair HQ
Ice Cold Air Discount Auto Repair is a Tampa-headquartered auto repair brand with 14 shops across West Florida. Services include brakes, air conditioning, check engine diagnostics, batteries, starters and alternators, plus oil changes, tune-ups, belts and hoses. Customers can join the Car Care Club for discounts, and each shop is independently owned and operated.
Ice Cold Air began in 1969 when its founder opened an Orlando shop calibrating speedometers, then built a specialty in auto air conditioning. The shops became franchises in 1993 and took the Ice Cold Air Discount Auto Repair name in 2000. Tampa native Ashley Butler bought her first location in 2006 and acquired the company in January 2023, becoming franchisor.
