Distillery in Shelbyville, KY
A ground-to-glass distillery producing craft bourbon, vodka, moonshine, and limited-edition releases, including a Four Grain Bourbon, a Bottled-in-Bond, a 6 Year Old Wheated Bourbon, and Red, White & Blue Bourbon. All spirits use non-GMO, open-pollinated Bloody Butcher heirloom corn grown on the family's own Shelby County farmland, with planting, fermentation, distilling, and bottling handled in house rather than sourced. Visitors can book distillery tours, spirit tastings, a Farm to Glass experience, and a Single Barrel Thieving Experience, and there is a Creed Cafe & Bar serving craft cocktails and food. Merchandise and online bottle sales are also available.
The distillery is owned by mother-and-daughter team Joyce and Autumn Nethery, who built it rather than inherited it: Autumn pitched the idea and Joyce made the plan. Joyce, who has a background in chemical distillation, serves as Master Distiller and leads every batch, while Autumn studied marketing and sales and now works as Director of Operations. The Nethery family owns roughly 2,000 acres across Shelby County, Kentucky, including the distillery property and their home farm.
