Jesse P. Marchan describes himself as a product of the U.S. immigration system, with over 30 years of combined legal experience, 25 of them devoted exclusively to immigration law. Before immigrating to the United States in 1995, he was a litigation attorney at Remollo, Melocoton & Associates in Makati, Philippines, and served as staff attorney and legal consultant to the late Senator Agapito A. Aquino in the Philippine Senate. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, was an AILA member from 2008 to 2018, and speaks Tagalog and Cebuano.
