Karl Strauss Brewing Company is a San Diego-based craft brewery and pioneer of California's craft beer movement, founded in 1989. It operates brewpub locations across Southern California alongside its main production brewery in Pacific Beach, brewing more than 150 beers a year including year-round and seasonal releases. The company was named Mid-Size Brewery of the Year at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival and remains one of the largest breweries in the country.
