The Law Offices of Janica L. Campbell is a full-service firm founded in 2007, with an Atlanta office in Buckhead at 3715 Northside Parkway and a second on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. Two practice areas: personal injury and business law. Personal injury work is taken on contingency. On the business side the firm handles clients ranging from individuals and start-ups through to multinational corporations — contracts, brand protection and ongoing corporate counsel. Janica Campbell is also a certified FINRA arbitrator, which covers securities and brokerage disputes. The firm sets out its approach as four Cs: client-centred counsel, competent representation, clear and concise communication, and a collaborative, creative approach to legal problems. The diamond in its logo, worked into both the sword and the scales of justice, is a reference to the same four-C idea. Clients who have spoken publicly about the firm include the saxophonist and Brand Jordan ambassador Mike Phillips, the nationally syndicated radio host Lenny Green, and NBA champion Kevin Willis — several of them on brand and contract matters rather than litigation. Janica Campbell opened the firm in 2007, and some of the clients she took on in that first year are still with her. She came to private practice from public service. Dr. Oscar Odom III, a retired New York City Commissioner, has described himself as her former supervisor, and vouches for her on the record. The Chicago office came later, giving the practice a second base on the Magnificent Mile alongside Buckhead. The mix of work has stayed unusual for a small firm — personal injury on one side, corporate and brand work on the other, with FINRA arbitration on top of both.
