Lowry & Lowry temporarily dissolved when Ed Sr. retired in 1988, and Ed Jr. continued practicing estate planning and estate/trust administration as a partner at Conliffe, Sandmann, & Sullivan. His son Ben Lowry graduated from law school in 2013, clerked for U.S. District Judge Charles R. Simpson III, and practiced at Middleton Reutlinger before joining his father in 2016. The two re-opened Lowry & Lowry in January 2017 as a third-generation practice serving Kentucky and Indiana.
