About Manifest Station DC
Manifest Station DC is a holistic wellness spa in Northeast Washington, DC's Deanwood neighborhood, owned and operated by Tarica Danielle, a licensed massage therapist and holistic healthcare practitioner. Danielle began her career in the massage and bodywork field in 2012 after completing certification through the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia, where she studied anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, and hands-on massage techniques. Her professional path took her through several roles in the DC area's wellness industry before she launched her own practice. She started out practicing in Vienna, Virginia, then advanced to a lead therapist role at Massage Heights in Alexandria, and became licensed to practice in Washington, DC in 2015. Along the way she worked at upscale spas and wellness centers, including Unwind Wellness Center, Paris Alexander, and Aura Spa, building a broad base of clinical and relaxation massage experience. Seeking to deepen her practice with traditional healing modalities, Danielle traveled to Thailand in 2016 to train at the Thai Massage School of Shivagakomarpaj and The Old Medicine Hospital, earning Level 1 and Level 2 Thai massage certifications along with additional specialties in cupping therapy and lymphatic drainage. Manifest Station DC's mission centers on developing client awareness of how to improve the functionality of the body as a whole through alternative and natural healing methods, using non-invasive bodywork and ancient healing techniques alongside more contemporary massage therapy. The practice's vision is to empower clients toward their highest potential mentally, spiritually, and physically, treating wellness as something that extends beyond the physical body. Danielle markets the practice explicitly to DC's Black community, positioning Manifest Station as a Black-owned wellness spa serving Deanwood and the wider Washington, DC area with services that draw on more than a decade of massage and holistic health expertise.
