About Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce
A nonprofit chamber serving Black-owned businesses in the Mobile area with training, advocacy, and networking. Programming runs through committees covering education, government and community affairs, marketing and public relations, membership and outreach, and special projects, and includes live and online workshops on systemizing and scaling a business. The Minority Build A Business Accelerator Cohort works with new business owners, and members gain access to a membership directory for referrals and a monthly general body meeting held at Spring Hill College's Byrne Hall. The chamber also maintains a Black Business Directory, reciprocal partnerships, webinar recordings, and hosts community events such as its annual Black History Luncheon. Membership fees are tax deductible.
