About Mountain Lake Club

A private lake club on the 55-acre Lake Shannondale, with 25 acres of shoreline, a beach, boating, and catch-and-release fishing, all set against views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Memberships include year-round lake access, beach access, and members-only events, while day passes for fishing and the beach are sold during beach hours. The Lakeside Bar & Grill serves food and drinks to guests year-round, and the club also hosts ticketed special events and weddings. The historic ruins of the former Shannondale Lodge, lost to fire, remain on the grounds.
